This course is a complete introduction to English Language Teaching. It covers the main methods of teaching, both traditional and modern, so you can understand how English teaching has developed over time. You will explore the role of the teacher, the needs of learners, and the best ways to motivate students of different ages and levels. The course also guides you in classroom management, showing how to give instructions, organize activities, and deal with common discipline problems. You will learn simple and practical techniques for teaching the four main language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—as well as how to teach vocabulary and grammar effectively.

Another important part of the course is feedback and assessment. You will see how to correct mistakes, give helpful feedback, and design fair tests. You will practice your understanding of the course using past teaching tests, so you can check your theoretical knowledge in real examples.

In addition, you will learn how to use teaching materials, plan lessons, and solve everyday classroom challenges. By the end of the course, you will have a 1-hour teaching session conducted via Zoom, WhatsApp, or Google Meet, where you will deliver a lesson, practice teaching the four skills, and receive personal feedback from an experienced teacher, and from novice teachers too.

Learning will be interactive with engaging activities, and at the end, you will receive a certificate of completion to recognize your achievement.

This course is especially useful for those who want to teach in private language centers or private schools, or for anyone preparing to apply for the national teaching test.
